granulated garlic 1 Tbs.
balsamic vinegar 1 1/2 Tbs.
extra virgin olive oil 3 Tbs.
salt 1 1/2 tsp.
black pepper 1 1/2 tsp.
crostini 12 slice(s)
smoked chicken sausage, cooked, crumbled 3 oz.
queso fresco 1 1/2 oz.
fresh basil leaves, cut into chiffonade 3 Tbs.

  • 1.In medium nonstick pan, scramble egg whites until cooked and fluffy.
  • 2.In small bowl, combine tomato, red onion, granulated garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • 3.To prepare bruschetta, place 4 crostini on serving platter.
  • 4.Divide scrambled egg whites between crostini.
  • 5.Top egg whites with sausage.
  • 6.Top with tomato mixture.
  • 7.Sprinkle queso fresco and basil over crostini.
  • 8.Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve immediately.
